Are you kidding yourself?
For the longest time, you told yourself that everything was fine. You said it so many times that you almost believed it.
You have always been the “strong one,” the “one who has it all together.” So, when your shield started cracking, you thought you would be able to “just push through it” like you have done before.
This time, it feels different. There is too much at stake. Too much to lose.
Difficulty Sharing Your Inner Feelings
It has been a while since you really felt seen.
Sharing your inner pain with someone else can be very difficult, especially if you have tried before but were disappointed.
Maybe you didn’t feel heard, couldn’t connect, or felt that interventions suggested didn’t dig deep enough.
Opening up is challenging.
Showing inner vulnerability can be extremely difficult if you have spent years guarding yourself from the very same thing you are now trying to work on.
You may be a respected businessman, a physician, professor, a parent, or a leader in your community.
Whatever your professional or personal persona may be, asking for help can bring a lot of shame and hesitation.
You don’t want to be seen “like this,” especially if usually you are the one who is doing the “helping.”
Perhaps it is time to find someone with whom you feel safe enough to share those thoughts.
Help is available!
Whatever are the reasons that brought you to my site, I hope I can be of help.
Individual therapy allows you to have space, so you can finally slow down and connect with the parts of yourself that have been neglected.
There is a significant power in being able to express your inner thoughts, pain, and desires in a safe and nurturing environment to allow you to finally be seen.
It would be my honor to assist you in your journey.
