Slow down and meet yourself…
If you are looking for a fast-paced, advice-giving provider, I am NOT the right fit.
I offer a warm, safe, and nurturing space to allow you to SLOW DOWN and meet yourself.
I offer depth, humor, and authenticity. I am dynamic and engaging (not a passive blank screen).
You will ALWAYS know what I think.
The focus is on YOU!
You are the expert of your own journey; I just help you navigate the maze.
Dead ends, mistakes, and obstacles are good; they indicate progress. It will not be easy. Real transformation comes from struggles.
I offer a concierge-style practice. Rather than being a number, we have personal and direct contact.
Treatment is carefully designed to meet your individual needs and takes into account your cultural and religious affiliations, your identity as YOU see it, your background, family history, passions, and your ideal self – the part of you that is waiting to be uncovered and expressed.
I have first-hand experience.
My own pain, history, and imperfections help me connect with those willing to face their own shadows.
I look at what is said, indirectly expressed, or left untold. I work with movement, sensations, and dreams.
I have a gentle, soft, nurturing style that allows clients to feel safe and accepted. Nothing is left uncovered.
You will see a change.
You will be able to face your own shadows without shame or judgment.
You will be able to feel heard in a new way that allows connection and growth.
YOU are the expert of your own narrative; but I will be right there, providing space, so you can hear yourself more clearly.
A Little Bit About Me
I have a doctorate degree in clinical psychology from Nova Southeastern University in Florida, with a focus on both Cognitive Behavioral as well as psychodynamic modalities.
In recent years, I have been committed to the studying of the body and the nervous system by attending a three-year program to get certified in Somatic Experiencing, a revolutionary mind-body biological approach to treating high anxiety, trauma, and PTSD.
Prior to receiving my Psy.D., I grew up in Israel, served in the army for two years, did my grad work in Florida, lived and practiced in the mid-west for 13 years, and relocated to California in 2018.
I have two kids who are exceptional and different in their own right – and a golden retriever puppy that we all adore.
Immigration, acculturation, and relocation are all too familiar, as these are themes with which I struggled as well.
If you read this far, it means that your journey has already begun. I hope I can be of help.
